FAQ

  • HOW MUCH IS A PHOTOGRAPHY SESSION?

At Studio | Erik Sawaya, we work on 100% risk free model.

Love your images or don't buy them. That's our stamp of 100% Satisfaction Guaranteed.

You can view the package options here.

  • HOW DO I SEE THE RESULTS AND ORDER MY IMAGES?

Following our shoot, you'll receive an email with a private viewing gallery. You'll see the 'raw' images straight out of camera. These are not yet edited in any way.

On your private viewing gallery, you'll be able to order images by adding them to your cart and checking out with a direct transfer or any major credit card. Once we receive your order, we'll begin post processing your images.

  • WHEN CAN I EXPECT MY IMAGES?

We aim to deliver your viewing gallery within a week of your shoot.

After placing your order you can expect to wait up to 3 weeks for your images to be processed and delivered, depending on our current load.

We pay extra close attention to detail and each image takes up to 2 hours for hand corrected colour and detail retouching.

If you have any special requests, be sure to let us know as soon as you place your order. Any request after delivery may incur additional fees.

  • HOW DO YOU RETOUCH MY IMAGES?

We have a page dedicated to this topic with before-after examples. Have a look here.

  • WHERE'S THE STUDIO?

Erik and his team are experts at building sets and studios location. We come to your office, your home, your school and we'll build the set. We're also happy to host you in a professional photography studio that meets your requirements and that's located near you for convenience.

In Melbourne, our main studio is in Brunswick.

We often team up with academy's, schools and institutions to bring a studio to you, ask your place of study if we're coming in the near future, if not put us in touch and we'll set it up.

  • WHAT CAN I EXPECT DURING A PREMIUM PORTFOLIO DANCE SESSION?

Duration: Premium Portfolio Sessions are a total of 1 hour in duration.

Outfits: There's no limit to outfit changes, however each change takes away from your shooting time. We recommend up to 3 outfit changes, being 10 minutes early and ready to go at the time of your appointment. Outfits can be classical, contemporary or even your warm up gear will look great. A simple leotard, no tights and shoes always look fabulous for a modern era look.

Posing: It's a good idea to prepare the poses you'd like to attempt. Not every idea will work, so it's good to have a few backups too. Typically, we'll be able to try 5 during our shoot, so come with up to 20 ideas and let's work on that magic! Just how you rehearse before a show or competition, we encourage you to practice before your session so you get the most out of your time.

Hair and Makeup: We encourage a natural look. Less really is more! Youtube is filled with great tutorials on this. If you don't normally wear makeup, don't start today. Absolutely no stage makeup. Hair can be worn up or down, this is your preference.

Tip: We recommend you stay away for salty and fatty foods up to 7 days before your session to give your skin a healthy look. Also you should try to double your water intake.

Parents: We encourage parent to drop off the students at the sessions and wait outside the studio area. Working one on one allows for the most productive, distraction-free environment, producing higher quality results.
